Perspective: Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine

Selected excerpts:

An excerpt describing the book states:

“The aim is to restore harmony through herbal medicine, acupuncture, moxibustion and the diagnostic skills of the physician. The governing principle is to balance Yin and Yang and to restore the interconnections between all aspects of the organism. This remarkable book explains the theory and practice of Chinese medicine. More than that, it mixes the most up-to-date knowledge of the oriental approach to healing with cutting-edge scientific research.”

Although written in 1985 (with a later revised 2nd edition published in 2000) this remains a classic of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. An approachable, easy to read book, that can give anyone an understanding of the conceptual models and theories underpinning traditional acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine.

Inexpensive, well worth a read, and adding to your library (especially for students and practitioners, and for anyone interested in understanding Acupuncture more fully).
